What stays local
Calculations run in your browser. Locations, workdays, shifts and your current meeting settings are saved in sessionStorage for this tab so the four tools stay in sync. Closing the tab normally clears that session; a browser restore feature may restore it. Reset replaces the settings with an original synthetic example, and Undo reset restores them until you leave the page.
The application makes no analytics, advertising, IP-geolocation or calendar-account requests. It does not ask for names or email addresses. The hosting provider still handles ordinary access and authentication requests and may keep operational logs.
What sharing includes
A link stores a UTC instant, duration and IANA time-zone identifiers in its URL fragment. Fragments are not sent in the initial HTTP request, but anyone who sees or copies the full link can read that information. The application does not shorten links or upload the settings. Shared text also includes local dates and UTC offsets. ICS downloads use a generic title without participant information.
Private preview
The tool is publicly accessible. Anyone with a shared time link can open it. Public tool and guidance pages may be indexed; actual search indexing is not guaranteed.
Local controls
Cancel search stops the overlap calculation. Reset asks before replacing settings. Keep my settings cancels that reset. Undo reset restores the immediately previous settings. Clipboard access is optional: a selectable text field appears if copying is blocked. Calendar downloads require your click and never import themselves.
